*The first two workshop are free of cost. For the third workshop, we recommend the kids have at least 40 USD for them to use as play money to participate with different web applications and to set up different accounts. There is a cryptocurrency ATM available on site at this location.

** Parents are encouraged to stay and learn with their kids during the workshops**

Check-in

Sign in at the front desk on the second floor and help yourself to snacks. Crypto ATM available on-site on the first floor.

10:00am

Scratch Programming (Age 5 - 13)

Scratch is a block-based visual programming language and online community targeted primarily at children. Users of the site can create online projects using a block-like interface. The service is developed by the MIT Media Lab.

11:30 AM

Intro to Git, Github, Markdown, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap 4 (Age 13+)

A gentle introduction to programming basics and setting up the development environment for the computer. Must have a laptop.

1:00 PM

Blockchain Gaming and Dapps (Age 13+)

What is Blockchain? Blockchain is the underlying technology that powers currencies like Bitcoin. For this workshop we recommend the kids to have at least 40 USD of play money to participate in the activities for different applications and learning how to use different wallets and such. There is a crypto ATM available at the location. Must have a phone and a laptop.
